Iain Carruthers build luxury 3, 4 and 5 bedroom detached properties in Brydekirk and Eastriggs. As well as the high build standard and sustainable local building materials used, we believe very much in the merits of our local area. For this reason, we have provided this guide to Brydekirk and the local area - to explain the benefits of living in a new build property in Dumfries and Galloway.

We are rightly very proud of our Jennymill luxury properties in Brydekirk - not just because they are built to a very high standard and offer luxury accommodation, but because we know how much the local area has to offer customers of our new build properties in Dumfries and Galloway. Brydekirk in a pleasant village in the south of Dumfriesshire, offering a real community feeling and providing an attractive home for our Dumfries and Galloway new build properties.

The village of Brydekirk is set in beautiful scenery, a few miles north of the pleasant market town of Annan. The village itself is a pretty, traditional Scottish settlement centred around its parish church and primary school. The village has several attractive historic properties, and nestles in the Annandale valley next to the popular fishing river, the Annan. Here, a singularly graceful 3 span 200 year old bridge crosses the Annan, forming an attractive link between the two sides of Brydekirk Village. Brydekirk was a planned village built in the early 1800's by Colonel Dirrom of Mount Annan, and as such is spacious and co-ordinated. Our luxury Jennymill development is sympathetic to the needs and look of the Brydekirk, using local materials in the construction of our Dumfries and Galloway new built properties - adding to and enhancing this pretty Scottish village.

People buying a luxury property in Brydekirk will have a fantastic village location in the unspoilt county of Dumfries and Galloway, set in green pastures and gently rolling hills. The clean, meandering River Annan flows down from the Southern Uplands to the North, towards the Solway Firth, estuary of the River Eden. This spectacular area of natural beauty boasts views of Criffel and across the estuary to the northern borders of the Lake District - forming one of the most varied, fascinating and beautiful stretches of coastline in the country. In this wonderful environment lie our Dumfries and Galloway new build properties, truly set in a beautiful part of the country.
